Local factory worker Andrew Higgins surprised his wife for the couples fifth wedding anniversary with a surprise performance from Kindred The Family Soul and the purchase of the couple first new house. “I wanted to surprise her, she was mad at me at first because she thought that I forgot but it was great seeing her face after I showed her the key to our new life,” Andrew said. New home ownership is up %15 in the African American community. “Andrew is a great guy and we were more than willing to come out an support the brother, he did a great thing,” Fatin Dantzler said. It is great to see a young African American couple making the step in the right direction.
